Google has announced to integrate two payment services in different names The newly launched payment service has been named 'Google Pay'.

Google has said that it will be possible to purchase Google products and services using the information stored in the account. These include purchase of YouTube subscription, paid app or in-app purchases on the Play Store and using the NFC facility in Retail Outlets, to pay the price of the product.

Meanwhile, Google has also announced that it has been able to offer payment by using Google Pay on various popular websites including Airbnb, Dice, Instatakt.

Since Google combined two different services, Google has expressed hope that more online transactions can be done more easily through Google.

In 2015, until the launch of the Android Pay, NFC payments had to be made using Google wallet. Later Google kept Google Wallet for Android Pay and other payment facilities for NFC payments.
