Hey everyone, it's been a while since I posted. My last post was about the Springtime event. I did play a bit during the event, but I just haven't really felt like posting much lately. Which is why it took me a while to finally get a new post up. Even though I had some exciting encounters in Pokémon GO.

During the event I was able to encounter a Shiny Flower Hat Pikachu!! It's my first time to encounter a Shiny Pikachu wearing any type of hat or costume! That was a really surprising and exciting encounter! It's also my 2nd ever Shiny Pikachu with my first Shiny dating back from the first ever Community Day which featured Pikachu. That's over 2 years ago between my 1st and 2nd Shiny Pikachu! :O

During the Springtime event there were Field Research tasks focusing on hatching eggs. The one for Hatch 4 Eggs gave a Chansey as an encounter. I knew this Chansey had to be 537 CP to be able to be a 100% from this encounter reward. One of the days during the event I actually had a Chansey with 537 CP from one of the encounters! I was ecstatic when I saw it. Until I caught it and did the appraise and noticed it's a 98% IV... So just like Magikarp, a Chansey from research tasks has 2 possible stat distributions at its max CP from the encounter. I guess Magikarp and Chansey from these Field Research tasks are just not meant to be 100% IV for me as I've had the same thing happen with a Magikarp. But we'll see in the future!

Luckily since my last post I did have some luck when it comes to 100% IVs, just not for the Chansey. On the same day that I encountered the Shiny Flower Hat Pikachu, I was also able to encounter a 100% IV Mareep! A bit later during the Springtime event I hatched a 100% Flower Crown Togepi from a 2 km Egg that received from gifts. After the event had ended I was just incubating an egg in the infinite incubator every time, and from one of the 5 km Eggs I hatched I got a 100% Ponyta!

My most favourite Pokémon during the Springtime event was Flower Crown Eevee. Ever since it got added to the game with last year's Springtime event I was hoping to get at least 2 100% IVs of these. So far I had no luck. I did as many Hatch an Egg Research Tasks as I could in order to have a good chance for one and catch all the wild ones I came across too. With no luck. During the weekend while I was taking a walk, I was near a friend. We did keep good distance from each other and made sure to keep distance from others too and to not touch anything. We were trading some Flower Crown Eevee, they had also kept some of their worst ones from back when it was in the 7 day Research Breakthrough encounter so I could perhaps receive some from them during Lucky Trades. Because we were now able to get more of these Flower Crown Eevee they can keep a few higher CP ones for that, so we also traded some of the old ones. And after one of the trades I actually got a 100% IV Flower Crown Eevee!!!!

I could hardly believe my eyes. I thought I would be out of luck for that considering I had gotten a 100% Lucky Eevee the day before the Springtime event started, but here it was a 100% Flower Crown Eevee from the trade sitting in front of me! That is now my 1st with the Flower Crown. Hopefully in the future I can get a 2nd one so I can evolve one into a 100% Sylveon with Flower Crown. Unfortunately I couldn't properly thank that friend as we should keep distance. Once this whole lockdown thing is over I will definitely give them a big hug as a thanks! :D
