Raw Hemp & Oat Chocolate Cookies
Dear Ones

Yesterday i made a small batch of raw cookies to test them, and they turned out well, so today i made a bigger batch and took some photos.

**Notes**.
 i would normally have added green leaf Stevia powder for extra sweetness but i have run out, so instead i used a little local mountain honey left behind by @khing.khong

All ingredients are approximate as i didn't actually weigh anything, so are here as a guide in case you would like to try to make them.

**Recipe**
80g Hemp protein pellets (by-product of extracting hemp oil)
80g rolled Oats
25g mixed raisins and sultanas
1.5 Tablespoon raw wholegrain tahini
1.5 Tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon flax seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
0.25 teaspoon greenleaf Stevia powder (or 1 Tablespoon honey)
Optionally - add a handful of crushed nuts (pre-soaked, rinsed and dried to remove the 
[phytic acid](https://www.marksdailyapple.com/nuts-and-phytic-acid/))

First i soaked the hemp & oats in water in a jar, just enough water to cover them. Best not to add too much or the mixture may be too sloppy. You can always add more later.

After about half an hour i gave a good stir then added the rest of the ingredients,

then spooned the mixture onto pieces of baking paper in dehydrator trays  (reusing 4 pieces of paper from yesterday's batch as i don't like to waste anything).

Two trays (of the 5 i have) filled. i'll make a bigger batch next time. I will weigh them later when ready.

Dehydrator set to 55°c for 2 hours. i will then lower temperature to 40°c for another 4 hours and check the dryness. i prefer my cookies a little moist, not too crispy. If you want to store for more than a few days, it would be best to add a little borax powder to preserve ([Borax is also VERY good for health at the correct doseage](https://www.health-science-spirit.com/Healing_the_Body/The-Borax-Conspiracy.html)) and dry the cookies a bit more.
