 I've just completed another Splinterlands modern league season and I can say that I've progressed further than when I was just starting. Although my current skills and card collection only permits me to rise up to just the silver league, I still consider it a good progress in my part. <center>https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/saydie/23u5xohXR4gptYHJ94ZGHfd1UV6JjndB8QWdqKVGLd9m7SFsXoKbt6GyLpUZCiiuFBXwG.gif</center> **Newly Acquired Assets** First, I've decided to halt my card collection purchases in favor of starting my own staked SPS base. <center></center> I went ahead and purchased 10,000 SPS from the market and staked it to my account. This makes my current SPS balance 10,196. I also still have around 50,100 SPS delegated to me so my total is around 60,000 SPS. I might also need to rent more SPS but from what other players have said, it's advisable to do this when I am reaching the gold and diamond tier. In order to do this I would need a few max level cards in my collection. <center></center> I'm also now a proud owner of three common plots. These plots are plains which produces grain. What I am after in the short term is to have five separate plots in order to gain an additional 5% bonus when doing ranked battles. I bought these plots for $19 each and I currently have no plans to yield them at the moment as it would take me a lot more capital to run them. Someone mentioned that the current reward cards that are available will soon be replaced in a few months. I've just started grinding these rewards which I find to have high significance in my battles. I am starting with the rares since they have some very interesting cards like the Dragon Egg Forager and Commander Slade. I'm still just at 8% completion of the rare cards and I am not sure if I will make it before the changes. If I do, I might then turn to epics and then common reward cards. <center>https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/saydie/23u5xohXR4gptYHJ94ZGHfd1UV6JjndB8QWdqKVGLd9m7SFsXoKbt6GyLpUZCiiuFBXwG.gif</center> **Card Targets** As for my card collection, I am still decided to level up my Drakoshan cards first.  I've recently just realized how strong Kei is when she is at the maximum level. Not only does she lower the melee attack of the enemy card, she also shatters the armor. This paves the way for the front tank to deal a strong melee attack, potentially someone like Commander Slade. If I pair her with Kavor Skarn as the archon, she will gain 6 speed which mostly guarantees her the first strike, not to mention the ambush. ***Kei Current CC: 3 - CC to Max: 8*** <center></center> Another Drakoshan that I'm currently targeting is Songale. This is mainly because he is currently the only Drakoshan that has Bloodline Tribute. The only negative that I see from him is the reckless ability. But I think I can also use him as a tank in front of Kei as I would be incentivized to have him killed early on for the rest of my Drakoshans to benefit from the Tribute ability.
