<center> [image](https://www.pexels.com/photo/battle-blaze-burn-burnt-260397/) </center> <div class='text-justify'> This post is about making you the helper and no longer the helped. Most of us are always caught up on the weak side of economic relationships on the steemit platform. *** You need to ensure that you bring something to the table that makes you no less than anyone else lying around. Money is a great incentive to gain swift recognition, but there’re things you wield that even money can’t buy. >Those who only have money are poor, but those who trust in the strength of what they can achieve will own everything. It got to a point in my steemit endeavours when is told myself that I’m tired of being the guy who needs help all the time. I also want to be the guy that people runs to for help. At this point, I understood the need to give people what to come to me for. That’s what you want to do. >give people a reason to come looking for you… And the possibility for that lies in the act of selflessness. You have to be able to do free things. No one would intend to pay you for a start. At least not a very big pay anyhow. Don’t be the guy who is always hitting the help button. Be the guy who responds to the help call. >if life gets more value on the basis of problems solved for other, then you should really seek to do more of problem solving for the folks around you; then the worth of your life will go up. Look around you, there’re folks who are celebrated in our world today. I sometimes thank God to have me feature on the planet during the time when they live. A lot of stuffs in history today sounds too good to be true, that’s because selfless people live and did selfless things that no one could imagine possible. And their lives got value. >I urge you to become that unbelievable character in the book of history. Be the feature that sounds too good to be true. We happen to be a part of an ecosystem where so much is demanded of us at both physical and intellectual capacities but with very slim guarantees. It makes us do so much and we are not even sure if it’s going to pay. The key then is to love what you do and keep doing it without guarantees. Then guess what? The chances aren’t really as slim as you thought. >steemit has a psych effect on users, and is programmed to play some creepy mind games… Only the brave will keep going even when the going gets ugly. I understand how embarrassing to finally think that all your voice is worth is a few cents. >looking at the homepage once again I saw written in bold characters <center><h5>“Your voice is worth something”</h5></center> But on getting here, after writing a few posts, you now see what your voice is worth in figures. How does it make you feel? Like I said, embarrassed! You should understand that people don’t pay that much for a new product. The willingness to make effective demand is usually very small even when the capacity is there. That’s why you see firms do promo and a lot of free stuffs when they start out. >You have to thread the empty path so you can find your footing. That’s the only chance you get to create you best and first impressions. You wouldn’t buy a new product for that much when it has a lot of substitutes whose value have already been proven over time. A time came on steemit when I became afraid of posting any additional stuffs because of the embarrassment of not getting any visibility. I was afraid of a blog post that would perform poorer than the previous one. It is normal to expect that things can only get better. *** But, you should also understand that that’s a general statement and there’s room for things to go the other way round. I conquered my fears of failure in the light of the previous statement. And I also understood that my life doesn’t become less valuable just because someone decides not to reward my contributions. *** Stand on your ground. You are valuable and could be more valuable. It’s only a function of the choices you make. Don’t let those tiny bits of discouraging factors weigh you down. You are the one who give help and be good enough to keep it coming. Your voice is a life saver to someone. Think of those people whose lives depend on your works here and decide to never give up. Then remember the question in the topic? >Would you rather be the fireman or the man in the fire? For me, I would rather be the fireman. Be the person who people depend on. We all need help at one point or the other in our lives but you should also and always create room for others to lean on you just like you lean on some other persons. *** Thanks for reading this is Bait and I'm gladly bringing you word from the offline minnow school a project where I train people through STEEM and through life. </center> *** *** For those who seek to know what this project is all about, you can read that below; ## PHASE 1: At this stage, we teach some minnows at our offline classroom to help attain self-sustenance. These minnows will then work with us as a team, reproducing other minnows. Currently, we have just wrapped up with Phase 1. And Phase 2 which is more demanding kicked off already. We have already recorded a track which you’ll find @theminnowschool. We are also in the process of recording a next track but the negotiation is still ongoing. *** ## PHASE 2: This basically is the core of the vision is to raise steem-backed entrepreneurs of young people. The method through which we execute the absolute idea goes as follows; *** * SKILL ACQUISITION PROJECTS: where various skills will be taught to foster the emergence of new entrepreneurs that thrive on voluntarism. *** * THE MINNOW SCHOOL TALENT HUNT: we greatly hope to give minnows who are not really writers but have other gifts such as singing, painting, dancing, acting a platform to express themselves and get their creativity beyond their minds. Basically, we are giving these young people a voice and ultimately awaken the writer in them. *** * THE MINNOW SCHOOL ART/MUSIC EXHIBITIONS: here talented young people will get to showcase their talents and the value they have to offer to the community. We will be sponsoring art projects and professional music careers will emerge with this. ### One of our sponsored recording session https://youtu.be/-vi2FVST3es ### An offline Open-mic session; https://youtu.be/0BQivTDH-i8 ### Our offline campaigns https://youtu.be/cSD6NR3ka_4 https://youtu.be/ReSg_JCERbY Thank you very much guys for reading.
