Good morning guys, this is @bait002 the founder of the offline minnow school where minnows are mentored and groomed. I would like to thank all those who follow this post and make it a point to resteem our posts to ensure that we get more visibility.

Sometimes I asked myself if what I have set out to do here is really worth the level of time and commitment it demands. All night and day you’ve got to actively do this or that just to make sure that projects don’t stall and that everything keeps a good shape. And what you get in return is mostly people taking you for granted and acting as though you not even doing anything at all. We’ll that question was rooted in the fact that I was actually doing what I was doing to get some help through impressing this person or that. That can be really discouraging and not only that it could also be really dangerous.
>if the indicator for success is people’s approval, then there’ll be no true successful people around.

People will only be a part of it once they are sure that it’s working. No one believes too much in its infancy. You will be the parent and the believer of the dream you’re carrying. And the beauty of your dreams will be the only drive you will have to give it your best. Don’t wait on people to start; they’ll never show up.
>… and the implication of waiting on people who will never show up until you start is that you never get to start …

Your vision wasn’t conceived by them so don’t expect them to buy it straight away. Expect that you’ll be the first adopter and believer of your dreams.
>the first and only person who lives in the reality of a vision is the one who conceived it…

This reminds me of the statement made by Lillian Disney; the wife of Walt Disney the founder of Disneyland, during the time when she was told ‘… I wish he was alive to see all these…’, her response was stunning, she looked at the interviewer and said ‘he was really the first to see all these’.
>true success is the complete translation of vision into the actual world no matter what obstacles you face along the way to succeed.

We expect so much from people who never really care about what you’re dreaming. You have to have substance to show the world around you before you get people buy into it. Believe it or not;
>no one would invest on nothingness …

I used to want to discuss my dreams and impress people to buy into the idea that I’m dreaming until a came to understand this. And the earlier you understand this, the better for you. Else, you’ll keep seeking the approval that will really never come. The implication is, you never get to start anything. That also means, there’s will be no invention attached to you know, whether personally or collectively.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand that there’s a point we get to that we become so afraid of failure and at that point we try to get assurance that we won’t fail before we start out. But, approvals don’t come before accomplishment. Do what you have to for yourself for the world around you that is to benefit from the impact of your invention. When we started pushing with the offline minnow school, nobody cared. When we started working on steemexchanger.ng no one cared. And even till now some still don’t care. It’s a free economy understand that; an individual can decide to allocate his resources whichever way he pleases. The secret is to keep working because; it’s something that needs to be done. Someone’s life will get better, you’ll be remembered for something positive.
>the world won’t give you credit for what you didn’t do …

Think about that and make a resolve to do it anyhow for the love of steemit and beyond. We never seek to impress ourselves and make existence a better experience. Once again, thanks for reading.
