Good morning guys, this is @bait002 the founder of the offline minnow school where minnows are mentored and groomed. In this post, I will be talking specifically about what a quality promo-steem post is meant to look like.


Those who have been following will know that I have been doing a couple of posts on how to use promo-steem tag properly. In the last post I made, I talked about the SPAM-HAMMER we're going to be rolling out to curtail spammy posts. I also talked about the implications of having a SPAM-HAMMER on your post.

So if your post doesn't fall into the category I'm about to describe then don't use promo-steem. The question now is this;

### What is a typical promo-steem post?

* A post that contains information about a promo event, including a picture of yourself with other steemians and newbies.


* A post that contains a tutorial or vital information that seeks to assist and help other users on the platform.


• A post that contains an announcement of upcoming events such as; meet-ups and campaigns. Such works can be regarded as promo-steem suitable.



* A post containing information suggesting or recommending an idea to the community. A workshop or seminar solely dedicated to STEEM and Steemit. An example: is the documentation of an even where steemians are trained.


* A post about the documentation of a presentation about STEEM at cryptocurrency submit as an attempt to onboard new investors.

* A post about you or your team introducing new Steemians; when you are present during the process.


* Giving a talk about promo-steem while encouraging fellow steemians especially promoters. Any form of post inspiring or encouraging promoters or steemians are promo-steem related.



There are of course, subjective measures to be taken by individual ambassadors as there is need to keep the system decentralised. However, for the most part, these guidelines should do when it comes to filtering posts. And as a writer or promoter, if your post doesn't follow these guidelines, don't bother to use the promo-steem tag.

I'm bringing you word from the offline minnow school.

For those who seek to know what this project is all about, you can read that below;


## PHASE 1:

We in this phase train some minnows at our offline hub to help attain self-sustenance. These minnows will then work with us as a team, reproducing other minnows. Currently, we have just wrapped up with phase 1. And phase 2 which is more demanding kicked off last week.

## PHASE 2:

This basically is the core of the vision and where the absolute idea lies and it goes as follows;
* SKILL ACQUISITION PROJECTS: where various skills will be taught to foster the emergence of new entrepreneurs that thrive on voluntarism.

* THE MINNOW SCHOOL TALENT HUNT: we greatly hope to give minnows who are not really writers but have other gifts such as singing, painting, dancing, acting a platform to express themselves and get their creativity beyond their minds. Basically, we are giving these young people a voice and ultimately awaken the writer in them.

* THE MINNOW SCHOOL ART/MUSIC EXHIBITIONS: here talented young people will get to showcase their talents and the value they have to offer to the community. We will be sponsoring art projects and professional music careers will emerge with this.
