Every week sharing the weekly progress has now become a fun activity for me. This week I will also be starting to claim my HBD interest from staking. I guess the week was very good and I made some decent progress if I'm not wrong. Let's look at the stats in detail to know how my progress was. 

The Hive price has also been really stable in the last week and it is taking an upward movement instead of a downside movement. Though I want it to go down in order to purchase some Hive cheap, I'm also glad that we are having a better price for Hive and the traders should know how they should be trading with the current price stability. 

## 25,000 Hive Power

This week also I had good growth in my account value. I was able to be consistent with my writing and claim some good rewards for the same. Both Author rewards and the curation rewards were pretty decent I believe.

I'm able to see a 1$ reduction in the curation rewards which can most likely be because of the fluctuation in the price of Hive. Otherwise, I guess it is all the same and the author rewards were also pretty decent. Some articles performed really well and some were good. I'm really happy that I did not have any challenges to miss writing any day. 

## 5500 Leo Power

This is my next goal and this week also was pretty good and I was able to power up lots of Leo this week. I did plan to sell some Leo this week for other investments and it was also good. I guess with the tokens I have been getting from the curation rewards, I should be able to complete the goal that I have set for myself. I still have a decent time to reach my goals sooner than planned.

## 2500 STEM Power, 2500 CTP Power, and 1000 POB stake

I think all these 3 tokens are also doing good. I was able to grab some tokens in the last week and managed to write a few articles on these tribes. I think I should make things, even more, better but yeah let's see how it goes. I'm glad that I got a 100% vote from onealfa.pob last week for one of my articles. That's something unexpected. But I'm glad that it happened. I'm still believing that I will be able to reach my goals before the end of this year. Yeah, let's see.

## 100 UTOPIS

I focused a lot on this last week. I wanted to complete this as soon as possible and when the tokens are available for cheap. Already I was a little late to the party because many people bought the tokens for 2 Hive and I'm now purchasing them for 3.5 Hive. The next sale is already up for 5 Hive per token. I don't want to wait till everything is sold out and purchase for 5 Hive per token. I have been selling some of my other tokens to be able to grab some UTOPIS cheap. Let's hope the goal is reached soon. 

## This week's goal status

Yeah here comes the interesting part. Overall the percentage of achievement is still looking good and a slight push further can make me reach the goals sooner than planned. I will then get the opportunity to set new goals and reach new heights.

## Claiming my first HBD interest

A few weeks back I moved around 500 HBD to my savings account. I wanted to keep two types of income streams. One from the powered-up Hive and another from HBD. Anyways both give similar APR but HBD is a stable income compared to Hive because Hive can have price fluctuations that are not predictable. I'm planning on increasing my HBD savings in the future as well and create a good passive income stream from that. Anyway taking the funds out is also just 3 days which is not a problem.

If the price of Hive goes further down to an affordable price, I'm going to be taking the funds out from Savings and use that HBD to purchase Hive back from the market. That's one strategy that I have been planning to do. Right now, with the first claim, I was able to get around 2.4 HBD as interest. 

I'm planning to claim my interest every 15 of the month. I want to see how much it is yielding per month. I think I can verify that only on the 15th of next month after the current claim. After claiming the tokens it has been added to the Savings itself which gives us an additional compounding opportunity as well.
