Sayonara Fish
If we are as tied to death as to life why do we cry and curse the experience.

I trust in the chef's hand, my meat will not be wasted and my soul will go back to the sea.

this illustration tells of a god of death, a Shinigami.

In japan sushi is a serious thing.
the chef embarks on a 10-year journey which prepares him to deal with any type of fish, crustacean or mollusc.

after this long path the chef becomes a skilled master who transforms death into art, for the happiness of others.

For this collage i used various elements like some fish photos from an illustrated book called "Conoscere", an old commercial from Russia featuring salmon eggs🐟,
also used pictures from chinese illustrated manifests, they're really cool and i hope to use them more often🙆‍♂️

are you able to find all the items shown above? let me know in the comments!
