Hello Steemit, I just wanted to give out some advice to others that may have had the same problems as me.

When I first found out about Steemit I was excited. I could finally earn money for content and voting.

As I became more emerged in Steemit I became frustrated. I’m not much of a blogger but I do like to vote and comment so I did just that. Though there was one problem, I wasn’t earning.

I began to think “Do I have to do things just like that person?” I started to feel discouraged as well as frustrated.
I didn’t want to imitate anyone.
I thought *is Steemit not for me? Should I quit?*

I read a few blogs and saw some newbies felt the same way. Discourage and left out.

# My answer to this problem….Take a break!!! <h1>

I'm still having a rough time navigating Steemit but I decided giving up solves nothing. A lot of people who earned big on their posts were either lucky or had good content.

After stepping back I decided I would post what makes me happy and comfortable.

For all the newbies like me that are finding it hard. It may be your turn. Take a step back for a few days. Reevaluate why you joined Steemit.

Sometimes a breather is all you need.
