Ok..so I tried out the app Lit, which is sort of a hybrid between Instagram and Snapchat. I created an account and posted 3 pictures. A few days later I checked back in because Mithril was mooning, and with only 30 followers (which I had gained by not doing anything at all) I had made like $0,5 without any effort. Literally 5 seconds of work. So..hmm..why not give this a try. So I found out how to gain followers real fast and within a few days I had 1000 followers. Surely that would mean 500 times more engagement, right!? No..the engagement dropped..Almost like there is an algo which is the more followers the less engagement. Having 100-150 followers I received 70-100 upvotes on crappy pictures of steem prices and mithril prices and some shitty memes. With 1000 followers I'm trying everything. I took a beautiful picture of a sunset and only received 30 likes. Another one of the Mithril price - 25 likes. Does anyone have any idea what the reason is? It seems designed. Another thing is the token itself. Why is it needed? The inventor of Mithril says creators should earn for creating..sure, but what is the utlity of the token? What is the value in the token? What can I use it for? Except to trade it for a better currency once I have enough of it? My gut feeling says Scam. Or at least a not very well thought through project. It seems rushed. The interface is terrible and not logical, and you can't take horizontal pictures, only vertical. The fact that this token is half the value of Steem is incredible. Either Steem is insanely undervalued, or Mithril is insanely overvalued. What are your experiences with Mithril? As you can see again it's mooning without any apparent reason. Up 50% today, most of the volume on OKex.
