My Two Hive Punks From Yesterday

@TheMarkyMark and @blockheadgames Hive Punks was a pretty fun event. I spent more time in the blockhead discord channel than I have spent the last six months in looking at discord.

Everyone was friendly, useful and helpful. Had it not been for the helpful people I would only have one of the two I wanted to try to mint. My goal was met, and I was able to get my second Hive Punk.

My post was going to be pretty much about yesterday, however, a short time after I started developing my post, Marky put out this little challenge:
https://peakd.com/hivepunks/@themarkymark/tell-me-the-story-of-your-favorite-punk-but-in-the-meantime-meet-douglas:
So my mind switched gears on where my post was going to head. Below you will find he story of Mila,

Mila Gregory

Mila was a fan of the Indiana Jones movies from her first viewing of them as a kid. She not only loved the action, but later as she grew some she understood the Historical Point of view.

She knew she would become an historian, from about the age of 14, and she studied hard. History she soon learned was a fun thing to study.

She loved Indy's hat, but she did not want to go full on Indiana Jones, so she found one of her dads old ball caps he never wore any more, and took to wearing it. It would be her little bit of family history she would carry with her always.

But she needed more, she loved her mother as much as her father and wanted to a little bit of her with her where ever she went. Her mother was rather conservative in her style choices, she pretty much only wore a little eye shadow and some lipstick.

Her mothers style was a little to tame for her, so Mila decided to go with a bold statement to represent her mother, as while her mother may be tame in the subtly of her make-up she was very bold when it came to standing up for herself and family.

So Mila though how best to represent her mother, and hose a very standout purple for her eye shade color, and a hot pink, (a really hot pink), lipstick color.

Her mother and father were not real happy with her choices, but they had to admit their daughter did stand out from the *ordinary* in life and they always wanted their daughter to make her own roads and choices in life.

Mila never lost her zeal for History, she would find history others failed at, she would put history back on the map, correct what she felt was Historical Errors and set the record straight.

From 14 year old, to seasoned historical physical researcher at the tender age of 22, still wearing her fathers hat, and her purple eye shadow coloring had that oh so hot pink lipstick that some loved, and a few despised, especially her second year professor MS Snarkley, but that is a story for another day. Mila was happy, and getting ready for her first historical jaunt with Mr. Samson, an extremely well seasoned Physical History researcher, her mentor.

Thus ends the background on Mila, Where will her adventures lead her? What lies around the next corner for her? Will she become what she has dreamed of - Indiana Jane -?
