<center><h2>Tracking and Growth</h2></center>

Two Years, one Month, and a couple of Days, and I finally got to <b>2000 SP</b>. I wanted to do a post about that on Monday, but well as we know steemit was down for a little while. Actually it was a good thing I was delayed by Steemit, and then by procrastination as to if I should or if I shouldn't, whether I wanted to or not, (make the post). 

The good thing about the delay, is Mr Number Man, Asher, @abh12345 came around with his <a href="https://steemit.com/monthlyreport/@abh12345/august-2019-monthly-steem-report-via-script#@bashadow/pxdijq">monthly report post</a>.  I don't think you need to be on his Engagement League List to get a report. I find the weekly Engagement list/report a nice tracking tool and along with this Monthly report it makes it easier to see how my account has been growing.

August was a good month for Earning Steem. The lower price really helped my account grow. I did add incorrectly last month on SP earned so the <i>'Aprox. SP Earned'</i> number went up a little bit for July. The number is only SP, no conversion of SBD's for any of the months listed. No special post this month most of them were valued from about $0.66 cents to one at $2.21, a typical month lately. The price of steem being low is what really increased the steem SP number. 

I should think about separating out the Curation from Author numbers. Not sure though if I really want to see the down side on the Author Front, but with the 50/50 split I will have to consider it. Here is the small table that I use to evaluate:

<h3>Posting:</h3>The post numbers, I would like to get them back up around 15-16, but I seem to have a problem with doing more than 3 post a week. Oh well, it is what it is I guess. September is starting off pretty slow for me post wise, so looks like maybe winter I will be able to do more post. 

<h3>Comments:</h3>Comments dropped a little bit this month, I have been trying to leave a few more comments and I do think they will pick up some this month. I have been out trying to read and comment more already for these first few days of September, so hopefully I can continue that trend. Still stayed above 300, would have liked to been closer to the 400 number so maybe this month, I guess we just wait and see.

<h3>Votes/Self Votes:</h3>Self Voting is still something I have not decided to do yet, perhaps next month, but for now still no self voting on my part. I have voted on a couple of my Alternate account post, that was so the few people that took time to read and give me a vote over there would get a little bit of curation reward. (I only vote them when on day 3 they are still below dust vote level and have some votes). I did pretty good on the run up to the Hard Fork on voting. 

I wanted to expand and cover a few more accounts and post since Author Rewards were going to be going down. With the low Steem Value, I still decided it was better to try and get to a few more post even if I needed to drop to a 25% Vote Power on several post. I am strictly a manual voter, and it has been hard to lower below 50% VP on post but I still feel that getting used to that level of voting will help me when the value of Steem does increase again. Here's hoping one day at 25%  vote power I will be able to give an above dust level vote.

<h3>Aprox SP Earned</h3>Last month I did say I was going to split out the Earned SP between the Curation and Author Rewards, oops...forgot that. So for August it was:
* Curation - 8.859286 Steem Power
* Author --- About 68.64 (33.892000 STEEM and 34.750092 Steem Power)


<h3>Conclusion</h3>On August 3rd, I had <b>1,804.212 SP</b>, and I mentioned last month how I was closing in on the 2000 SP mark and that I might make it. Make it I did to 2000 SP. Today September 5th I have <b>2,012.442 SP</b>.
