Rainbow is a nature's color spechrum, it is always appear in one particular portion of the sky and only when you facing away from the sun. The top of the raibow is about halfway between the horizon and a point directly above your head. Furthrmore, the sky behind the rainbow is always hozy and cloudy.
It is the clouds or haze that makes rainbow possible. The haze or clouds consist of millions of small drops of water and each of these drops acts as a prism. Breaking the reflected sunlight into a spectrum. Each drop only reflects a single color wave o the spectrum directly to our eyes, the color is depending upon the height of the drop above the horizon.

**HOW TO MAKE A RAIBOW:**

• Place a  large peice of white paper on the floor in front of a window through which the bright sun is shining. 

•  Set a glass full of water on the window sill so that it extends slightly over the inside edge.

The water in the glass will acts as a prism and produce spectrum on the paper on the floor.
