Love is a powerful thing!

Iwe got engaged Saturday night.
We had a house full of friends, a nice fire in the outdoor fireplace, and as I practiced my proposal in my head a thousand times, mentally changing the words, it came out differently than I had thought it would.

Suddenly I found myself with my darling Katharine out by the fire, only my two cousins outside. I got down on my knees and said,"Kate, I've been wanting to ask you this for a while....I love you more than I knew I could ever love someone, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me and be my darling forever?"

She started crying, and got on her knees and hugged me, still crying, then I asked her, "Is that a yes, babygirl?"
She said YES!!
I am blessed to have met her strictly by chance at a friend's house almost three years ago, and now we are going to make it official!
