April 22nd. Mark it. That’s when the Conclave Arcana presale kicks off and I’m seriously pumped. If you read [my previous post](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@beaker007/conclave-arcana-hype-my-dollar800-game-plan-and-thoughts), you already know I’ve got my plan locked in—with 800k to 900k DEC (800$ HBD) ready to go. But like the OG @infidel1258 said in one of his videos:

And I’m fully onboard with that energy.

While many are diving headfirst into the Arcana packs, I’m **<u>also</u>** shifting focus... toward land. And trust me, this isn’t a detour—it’s part of the bigger picture.

# <div class="phishy">The Real Reason I'm Bullish on Arcana</div>
Yes, I’m hyped for the cards. Yes, I’m ready to rip open packs. And YES, black foil cards have me dreaming at night.
But what really lights me up is this:

> Land is finally starting to interact with the game.

It’s small, it’s just the beginning, but it’s huge in terms of direction.

With Conclave Arcana, we’re getting our first land:
Introducing the Midnight Potion—a craftable item that boosts your odds of getting a black foil when opening Arcana packs.

You’ll need to build an Aura Building (worksite) to make them. That building? Needs a Permit (purchased with research points, then consumed when used). After that, you’re crafting away, spending production points to make potions.

Base resource costs:
* 0.005 Wood
* 0.002 Stone
* 0.0005 Iron
…per 1 base Production Point spent per hour.
Just like a research building, but with shiny results.

# <div class="phishy">So What Am I Doing?</div>
I bought more land.
Yeah, I know, it still needs to be cleared. I won’t be able to work all of it right away, but I’m slowly expanding. Step by step.

I’ve been collecting since the early days of land. While I have a decent setup now, I’m still a minnow compared to the big land whales. And that brings me to a point I really hope the Splinterlands team is considering:

> Make this fun for everyone.

Whether someone owns 50 plots or just 1, we all want to participate. The Aura Building shouldn’t be locked behind a massive grind or unreachable costs. 

We need that balance where:
* Whales aren’t done in a day
* But minnows don’t feel like they need to farm for a year just to have a shot

Some folks have 10 million+ research points. I have ~30k. Others might have just a few thousand. There’s gotta be a path for all of us. A challenge for the team 😁

## <div class="phishy"> Why I’m Bullish (Not Just Arcana)</div>
Now you know why I’m bullish—and it’s not just for Conclave Arcana. I’m excited about the whole game, and especially land.
For those of you following me for a while, you already know I’ve been busy building a tool to help manage and view land in all kinds of ways. I seriously can’t wait to release the next update—it’s getting close...
