Greetings to everyone here, It's my first time here, I might not be perfect with my first post base on first post, but I'll appreciate if I can be accepted the way I am, I'm just going to be natural, sincere and real with my write up here. I'm gonna be talking base on how I feel for writing this post.

Sincerely if someone told me a year ago that I’d be writing my introduction on Hive, I would have laughed and scrolled past.
But here I am today, finally taking the bold step. Not because everything is perfect, but because I believe it’s time to stop doubting myself and start trying new things.

 My name is Odunayo Adeyemi, but most people call me BeamUp. I’m a 25-year-old lady from Nigeria with a story full of dreams, passion, challenges, and growth.

I’m originally from Ogun State, but I was born and raised in Oyo State. Growing up, I always knew I had something creative in me. After finishing primary and secondary school, I went on to study Theatre Arts at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). I choose that course because I’ve had a strong love for acting since secondary school. Being on stage, expressing emotions, telling stories, all of that made me feel alive.

But life doesn’t always go the way we plan it. After graduating, I faced reality. There was no connection, no support system, and no real opportunity to chase my dream in acting. I didn’t want to sit back and wait for things to happen, so I decided to build myself in other ways. I learned hairstyling, pedicure, and even how to make crochet designs. These weren’t just hobbies, I took them seriously and became a professional in all three.

Aside from that, there’s one thing I truly enjoy with all my heart, *dancing*. It’s more than just movement to me. When I dance, I feel free. It brings me joy, peace, and confidence. I’ve loved dancing since I was young, and I still dance every chance I get.

Now, about how I found Hive... To be honest, I used to be very skeptical about anything related to online business. I had some bad experiences in the past that made me stop trusting online platforms. But my cousin, @neysco, kept encouraging me. For almost eight months, he kept telling me about Hive and how much I could benefit from it. I kept saying no. I didn’t believe it was for me. But today, something changed. He spoke to me again, and this time I decided to listen.

So here I am starting something new, ready to share, learn, and grow. I want to say thank you to @neysco for never giving up on me. And thank you to the Hive community for welcoming people like me.

I look forward to connecting with others, learning new things, and maybe even inspiring someone with my story.
