When the crypto assets prices fall after a bullish period like the one we're experiencing, it is called 'the dip' and in such times it is important to remember to stay calm and not panic. We know by now that the crypto market is highly volatile and that the assets with utility and value will mostly retrace the uptrend after such events. Thus, instead of panic selling, regretting and getting out of the game, we need to leave the sentiments aside and play the game right and with patience. In addition to this, in such times, I feel energized to accumulate more and more assets. When people are losing hope and motivation, that's when you can earn the most. Think just about the Hive blockchain where if you continue to be present and create content you will be rewarded more as the reward pool tends to be split amongst fewer creators. And this is just one example, I am sure that other blockchain have their own mechanics rewarding those that keep at it. ## Accumulate or earn assets at a discount As I've already emphasized, when prices dip, it's like a cascade sale in the crypto market, allowing you to buy quality assets at lower prices. By focusing on assets with real use cases and strong tokenomics, we’re setting ourselves up for future gains when the market rebounds. That's one play for buying and there is another for earning where % APR tends to rise up with fewer participants. ## Improve your reputation and networking Being part of a blockchain ecosystem, it is better to keep on contributing and engaging during tough times. Whether it’s creating content, validating transactions, participating in Liquidity Pools or supporting the community, our efforts are more noticeable and often more rewarding when others have stepped away. And in these hard times, the networking that we make will spawn over long periods of time and ensure continuous support. ## Refine portfolio strategy A market dip is the perfect time to analyze our portfolio structure and identify which assets are truly worth holding long-term. This can help us consolidate into stronger positions and let go of tokens that might not perform as well. Sizing the portfolio is imperative to be able to make good management and keep an eye on the assets in order to invest them smart. A large portfolio might be overwhelming, a position in which I am finding myself and that I want to get rid off in this cycle. ## Get early on projects launched in bearish times There might be projects under development that could be launched in such bearish times when dip takes place. In such context, there are fewer users in the space and the entry level might be lowered, thus creating opportunities for those present. Doing DYOR and investing at lower levels, might provide us an edge when the market turns around and investors are back in the crypto space in packs. Early adopters can strike it rich if they play the game right. https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/behiver/23t7FUE1BUnSUt5ygXjj2MgytbrZHDvZ8mYysDsTYdhHPn4KFpbWX4SUxpupKnr6sdVSm.png As it currently happened, the crypto market dips are mostly temporary, and the opportunities that they present can have highly yields on long term. By staying calm, focusing on value and not memes, and sticking to a consistent strategy, we can turn fear into fortune. The crypto market rewards those that prove patience and perseverance, so instead of running away, we should see dips as a chance to strengthen our position and grow. At least this is what I am doing on the Hive blockchain and beyond in all the other crypto projects that I am involved in.
