The heat index is soaring high at 40s to 50s degrees Celsius and the plants are suffering. I just went out and water the plants and I'm sad to see the sunflowers wither because of the heat.

I also have some chillis looking like they are gonna die. I don't know what to do. I will try and cover them with cardboard later. It's a loss if we lost them.

I hate having to deal with rain and wet pavement but I hope it rains every afternoon or morning so these plants don't suffer from too much heat. It would also be less work for me because I don't have to water them. Global warming is so real where I am at and I hope we do something about it.
