Oh my, this April's [Humble Bundle](https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly?refc=Zio8ho) drop has some really great gems in it! In fact, for just the subscription price, you are going to get at least two games that are more than worth the price of admission.... and you can always cancel the subscription immediately afterwards! This is the sort of thing that is great about [Humble Bundle](https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly?refc=Zio8ho)! Of course, if you stick around longer, then\ you start to build up some pretty nice discounts on games in the regular store!

So, let's take a peek at what is in store for this month's [Humble Bundle](https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly?refc=Zio8ho) subscribers!

Leading this drop this month is the highly acclaimed Death Stranding... which I still always read as Death Standing. One particularly hiarliousSteam review describes the game as an "post-apocalyptic DoorDash simulator"... I guess that sort of describes it... an expansive world from the legendary Hideo Kojima... expect lengthy cutscenes! I've been wanting o add this critically acclaimed game to my library for quite some time... and I have resisted purchasing it on the various Steam and Humble sales over the year or so since it was released.... and now, I can claim it! And I'm definitely clamiing this one!

Ah, I was terrified of the Aliens movies when I was younger... but I really loved the universe that they were crafted in... So, I would find myself learning and reading more about the universe... but avoiding watching the movies! I think that I can probably handle the movies now, and I figure that I should get back into it and watch them... even if they are going to be hideously dated! 

I'm a bit up in the air on this Fireteam: Elite... it is a 3rd person class shooter... and that might be sort of interesting, but it is designed for co-op multiplayer, and given that this is an older game, the amount of player is sort of low. Some games do manage to handle the transition from multiplayer to single player fine... but I' not really sure if this will be one of them. By the sounds of things, the game is light on story and more heavy on the multiplayer gameplay loop... I might pass on this one.

A third person shooter on in-line skates with a cool cartoon/comic book art style? I'm already intrigued! And it looks like it works nicely on the Steam Deck, so I think that this will definitely find a home on my portable gaming controller!

I LOVED the first season of Life is Strange... sure, it was a bit awkward at points, but it was just such a beautiful story-telling game. I'm really curious about what the studio is going to do with the second season! In fact, I think this would be one of the games where I would just pick up the whole drop for! The fact that there are at least two "must-have" games in the drop makes it totally irresistible!

A RPG in the style of old school "choose your own adventure" books! A hand-drawn blac and white art style and lots of reading for the player here... I've already got this one, but I would also say that this is one of the games that make this drop worthwhile! If you like reading.... and hardcore RPGs....

The second from the trilogy of "Monsters" dating sims... well, this is just a cute game with a cute art-style and humour. Honestly, games like this just bring a smile to my face! After all, not every game needs to be grim-dark and saving the world from extinction. Sadly, I had already bought the trilogy recent when it was on a huge discount sale... serve me right, I never learn that many game will eventually come to the Humble drops... I just need to wait!

Twinstick-roguelike with a retro art style... Ah, sadly, I have way too many of these sorts of games. Revita might be good, but I'm afraid that I'm going to just let this one go straight through to the store.

Founder's Fortune does look like a nice colony management simulation game... but there are many reviews that say that there are quite a few better games with more depth and quality out there. I guess I will stick with RimWorld and Dwarf Fortress for my own fix of this genre... but I do wonder if the slightly shallower mechanics and cute art style might be more appealing to my kids instead? Hmmmm... it might be an interesting introduction into these games... but older one is already into Skylines, so this might be just too simplistic for her.
