Since getting my licence and completing year 12, one of my favourite things to do is go driving down to the coast for the day. I love the freedom of being able to choose a location and go explore for the day. On this particular day, I wanted to explore some of the lesser known spots around Port Campbell (the closest town to the 12 apostles). I always like to stay for sunset if the clouds are looking good, and I often find the biggest problem is choosing which place to set up at! I hadn't visited here before, and found a sea stack out that I had never seen photographed before, deciding to shoot from here. On my way in, I parked at the end of the track as a man and his dog were coming up. The dog was obviously excited to see some humans and came racing up and sat on the backseat of my car! (The door was open as I had just grabbed my camera bag). I thought this was pretty funny, while the owner was a bit embarrassed. Once the dog hopped in the correct vehicle, I headed down to the beach and found my comp. Once I got the images I was happy with, I started packing up and the sky decided to go pink. So I didn't quite get the shot I could've, which taught me to NEVER move the camera until the sky is going dark. I've also attached an image of the sky once I had packed up!  Still super happy with how this turned out! The image has been exposure bracketed with an image for the foreground, one for the waves and one for the sky.  This is straight out of camera as well!
