Once upon a time in the early seventies, before Google arrived to give us everything, we did a lot of research in the bookshop of our hotel in London. We read a lot. We learned something new. People began to talk about the "internet of things."

In 2000 and 2001, there was a massive boom in technology and this was something I had read about on my mother. We never thought our phones could do some of those things. We were really impressed with the internet, how we could interact and communicate like that, and it blew us away. Then there was something called the Internet of Things. "The Internet of Things" is this new thing that has happened over the last five years — the Internet of Things has changed everything. When I was a kid, we were worried about the internet of money, the internet of health, of everything that was going on in the world. All of it connected by the internet now.
