<center><b><em>Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!</em></b></center>

A few days ago, I decided to go over one instrument that was sold earlier on the year but still remains at home. This one was bought by a fellow choir singer. It's amazing how 3 of the sopranos from the previous generation of the choir had already been clients of the workshop.

There was the need to work on the tuning of the instrument. It was a bit off. So I made a new saddle and carved some compensation for the scale used for the string length. After an hour of work giving the piece of wood shape, the filing for the compensation started. Then, came all the process of tuning on and tuning off, I finally hit the spot of appropriate sound.

And of course, I couldn't miss getting some shots at some parts of this process.

Hace unos días, decidí revisar un instrumento que ya está vendido pero todavía sigue en la casa. Este fue adquirido por una amiga coralista. Es increíble pensar que 3 sopranos de la generación anterior del coro ya han comprado algo del talle.

Había que arreglar unos detalles de la afinación. Estaba un poco fuera de tono. Así que le hice una cejilla nueva con compensación adecuada a la escala del diapasón. Después de unas horas de trabajo dándole forma a la madera, se llegó a la parte final donde se hacen las rampas con una lima. Luego, comenzó el proceso de afinar y desafinar para probar si esto funcionaba. Todo hasta llegar a una afinación adecuada.

Y claro, no podían faltar las fotos del proceso.
