Yesterday, mom tapped at the window of my room to tell me about a frog she has mistaken for a rock. She almost swept it and it jumped in the garden to stay safe from the broom. I didn't know what was the fuss about it, but then I came out to the garden to watch it. It was a really interesting amphibian. It looks like it was made of cement. So, I did my best to capture it without startling the animal. And here are my takes on this frog. I think it is from the species *Hyla versicolor*, but I can't actually tell because I couldn't take it and measure nor look for other details to make sure. # Español <br> <center><b><em>¡Buen día, fans de las fotografías en blanco y negro!</em></b></center> <br> Ha pasado un rato desde que tuve algo interesante que fotografíar en este filtro. Ayer, mi mamá llamó con algo de prisa a la ventana de mi cuarto para decirme de una rana que había confundido con una roca. Casi la barre del suelo, pero la rana saltó al jardín para resguardarse de la escoba. No entendía cual era la sorpresa, pero al verla, lo entendí. La rana parecía hecha de cemento. Así que hice lo que pude para tomarle unas fotos sin asustar al anfibio. Aquí están mis tomas de la rana. Creo que pertenece a la especie *Hyla versicolor*.
