<center>Hands down it is the sharpest lens i have ever owned. 42Mpx sensor of Sony A7R II may add to this impression but is sharp all way through to wide open from center to the corners. I have been reading reviews before buying Sony 55mm f1.8 Zeiss Sonnar T* as the price tag is decently high totaling around 900 USD for a new one, but so far i believe it is my best purchase ever.</center> <center><h3>Luckily there are a lot of sharp objects in Tenerife, cactus being one of a more ubiquitous one. It is fast and accurate. A lot of the autofocus comes from the body itself and Sony A7R II is to a weaker side at this (autofocus has been improved a lot in A7R III) and i sometimes have trouble when focus is "hunting" at smaller apertures like f/16 or f/22. But that again has nothing to do with the lens itself.</center> <center>**Sony 55mm f1.8 Zeiss Sonnar T is razor sharp. It is the sharpest lens i have ever owned or even ever used.
