Excessive Gaming is a mental health condition, WHO
By May 2018, the World Health Organization (WHO) will recognize and classify gaming disorder as a mental health condition.

>The WHO defines the disorder as a "persistent or recurrent" behavior pattern of "sufficient severity to result in significant impairment in personal, family, social, educational, occupational or other important areas of functioning."

I've posted about this problem before, about people especially teens who are addicted to Video gaming. You may check my previous post about it [HERE](https://steemit.com/psychology/@beverlyjoe/video-games-and-online-games-addiction-is-a-serious-social-problem)

I think it is about time that WHO recognize that this is a serious problem, and people should seriously be aware of its consequences. Just like addiction to drugs, if there is no control, people's lives can be ruined due to physical ailments and mental disorder.
