Hello there Tasteemers. This is my first time posting in Tasteem. I'm still learning the trade though, hopefully I will get some support and advice from the moderators and you guys.

For my entry for this **"Cheap and Fabulous"** contest, I have chosen D'Waffles Cafe for my review. As the title of the contest has suggested, the cafe is indeed offers Cheap foods and reasonable drinks prices. And the interior is quite Fabulous too.

The cafe is actually located at the Ground Floor of the ITCC Mall which is about 15 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu City or 5 minutes drive from Donggongon Town. The cafe has just been officially open for business about a month ago.

What impresses me the most once I entered the cafe is the tables, chairs, and some part of its decorative walls are all made of recycled, shredded and compressed woods. It really does look fabulous to my opinion, and a great way to preserve and saves more trees.

I forgot to take a close up picture of the tables, chairs and the walls. Hopefully you guys can see the type of material that they used to make it.

Since they are promoting the Laksa and Mee Rojak, so I gave it a try. I tested the Kuching Laksa and my wife tested the Mee Rojak.

<center>The gravy spread on top of the Mee Rojak is the same as the dipping sauce for most Malaysian or Indonesian Satay.</center>

Overall, based on the (cheap) price of the two dishes that we ordered, the taste is quite good, but honestly I still prefer to have it with the normal (or more) number of  ingredients / fillings, even if I have to pay more.

Lastly, what is my overall opinion about this place?
1. It is clean and the staff is polite and helpful.
2. The price is reasonably cheap and tasty.
3. A great place to hang out with families or friends.

Will I visit this place again?
Definitely.
