Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien, tenia mucho tiempo con ganas de preparar unas arepitas dulces, mi cuñada las hacía y les daba a mis hijos pero yo no tenia ni idea como hacerlas, no lo podía creer que siendo una receta tradicional venezolana yo nunca me hubiera atrevido a prepararlas, hasta hoy! Tengo días comprando los ingredientes e investigando en Internet como hacerlas y ahora les contaré como las hice y el resultado que obtuve.

## Ingredientes 
•	1 taza de papelón o panela rallada
•	2 tazas de harina
•	2 cucharadas de anís dulce
•	1 cucharadita de polvo de hornear
•	1cucharadita de sal
•	2 cucharadas de azúcar
•	Agua (cantidad necesaria)

Lo primero que hice fue disolver el papelón o panela en una taza de agua caliente.

Mezclé todos los ingredientes secos (harina, sal, azúcar, anís).

Agregue el papelón disuelto y comencé a amasar, complete con agua hasta obtener una masa suave, deje reposar por 10 minutos.

Tome una bolita de masa y con la ayuda de una tabla de cocina y una bolsa plástica, la deje plana (Como se muestra en la fotografía).

Calenté suficiente aceite, sumergí la arepa y con un utensilio de cocina la fui bañando hasta que se inflaron.

## Cosas que aprendí.
•	Para que la arepa se infle debía bañarla con aceite en todo momento.
•	Después de enfriar pierden el aire interior.

Esta receta se puede comer sola o con queso rallado, nosotros lo hicimos de las dos formas y quedaron muy ricas, aunque yo me imaginaba que se iban a mantener infladas por mucho tiempo, de igual manera se pueden abrir y rellenar de queso.

Hello friends, I hope you are very well, I had wanted to prepare some sweet arepitas for a long time, my sister-in-law made them and gave them to my children but I had no idea how to make them, I could not believe that being a traditional Venezuelan recipe I I would never have dared to prepare them, until today! I have days buying the ingredients and researching on the Internet how to make them and now I will tell you how I made them and the result I obtained.

## Ingredients
• 1 cup of papelón or grated panela
•	2 cups flour
• 2 tablespoons of sweet anise
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
•	1 teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons of sugar
• Water (required amount)

I mixed all the dry ingredients (flour, salt, sugar, anise).

Take a ball of dough and with the help of a kitchen board and a plastic bag, lay it flat (As shown in the photo).

I heated enough oil, submerged the arepa and with a kitchen utensil I bathed it until they were inflated.

## Things I learned.
• In order for the arepa to inflate, it was necessary to bathe it with oil at all times.
• After cooling they lose indoor air.

This recipe can be eaten alone or with grated cheese, we did it both ways and they were very tasty, although I imagined that they would stay inflated for a long time, in the same way they can be opened and filled with cheese.
