It's hot and sunny, the wind feels dry and harsh but I still had to go to the market. I went to buy some meat we'll be needing for a meal later in the evening. This is Cow skin popularly called ***Kpomo***  ***Kpomo*** is used in preparing a lot of local dishes over here. I love the taste of it. It can be very strong atimes. You need a lot of cooking to make it soft. When I got to the spot where it is being sold, the traders were debating on who called me first. At that point, I was confused on who to buy from first. I could see them fighting amongst themselves on who actually called me first. An elderly woman sitting over there said calmly *"My daughter, you know I am the one that called you first, buy from your mother. You know mama (That's how elderly women are addressed) needs the money more than these children."* I felt blackmail emotionally. I had to buy from her claiming she was actually the first person to call my attention. When I asked if I could take pictures of them, they were excited about it and ask me to feel free.   This child over here was calling on me to take pictures of him and what he sells and show to the whole world. I don't know why he said that but I got somehow emotional about what he said. I don't know why I was emotional but then, I felt something for him. I promised him I would and I just fulfilled that promise of mine.   I went to get smoked fish as well. This particular one was quite expensive. I had to move away. It was way over my budget.       People are really working so hard to make ends meet. You can see how hard they are working not minding the weather condition       The day was quite busy for everyone. But my shopping went well. Thanks for stopping by.
