Today, I am going to turn my account into a manual resteem service. This is to help work against the myriad of bots which seem to be taking over this site, resteeming anything and everything for 10 cents - regardless of content or quality.

This means that every post submitted for a resteem will be reviewed for content before a decision is made to resteem it, or not. You will recieve a full refund if your post is not resteemed. Additionally, I may provide an explanation as to why I chose not to resteem your post.

These decisions are going to be totally subjective on my part. I will try to choose what I think are "good quality" posts, which may differ greatly from what other people think are high quality. If there is a disagreement, no loss on your part - you will receive a full refund.

I'm going to spend my time, trying to make SteemIt a better place. For this, I ask for 0.2 SBD or STEEM. Place a link to the post you wish to resteem in the comments section. It may be any post you wish to promote - doesn't have to be your own.

In this way, a real actual person will be involved in promoting better quality content and screening out trash. This means, a lot of #NSFW, news spam, contest entry posts, etc. will not be promoted here. I am looking for human involvement that have meaning and substance. For example: funny MEMEs, although short and may require little efffort, are still good for a human laugh - which is valuable. Re-Steems of your photo-contest entry will be declined - we're already spammed by enough of those on the blockchain.

Resteems may be done immediately, or they may be done sometime within the next 24-hours - as this is a manual service, not automated.

I hope this will help to increase human inter-action on SteemIt and help to make this a better place.
