<h1>The Style</h1>

I was first attracted to gotmeens with his work on [this](https://steemitimages.com/DQmRb2UAUVQhUgosGW9LGDbx1PXhH9ykzR7RWz2Vqcs3Eh6/final%20postcard.jpg) for @saywha. Then following up with [this](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTQfkEXkXS1rZJC7gDcV5Fuc94k9TdTmmJ4NwchpeEb5T/steempay%20finished.jpg) for another Steemian @kodaxx.  

There is something about the mixture of abstract colors and extremely fine detail that draws me to his pictures. So I knew at that time I needed to have one. I had asked him about this piece for someone else and asked if he could do water droplets on the rose. He stated he had never done them, but would try.

I think the water droplets look remarkably real. It is also quite impressive the way it looks as if not only the petals get darker as you get deeper to the left, but so do the water droplets.

When I look at @gotmeens art, I feel as if I have begun to understand his style. His style seems to be a mixture of, "Something imperfect, trying to be perfect." 

And I think that is beautiful.
