The teacher could see that these kids were really happy and this made her whole day worthwhile. </p> <p>I have a big surprise for all of you, she said after they came back from their time in the hall, like every Monday morning. </p> <p>They were very inquisitive and could not wait for her to tell them what it was. </p> <p>https://imgoat.com/uploads/647966b734/88986.png</p> <p><a href="https://imgoat.com/uploads/647966b734/88986.png">image source</a></p> <p>We are going to have a maths multiplication Olympics here in the class and I want all of you to take part. The only thing you have to know, are your multiplication tables. This was her way of motivating them to learn and they loved any competition. Some of the kids did not look so happy, but they knew they would have to learn now as they did not want to look bad when the results came out.</p> <p>https://imgoat.com/uploads/647966b734/88989.jpg</p> <p><a href="https://imgoat.com/uploads/647966b734/88989.jpg">image source</a></p> <p>At break time they told their friends about it and said we realise she wants you to know your multiplication tables, we think we must get our teachers to do the same. </p> <p>Then the best 3 from every class can have a competition and see which class is the best. </p> <p>That does sound like a wonderful idea, and just think of all the fun we will have. After break they all went back to their classes and asked. This was now big thing at school as they had something to look forward to and knew that it can only do them all good. </p> <p>When Luan and Jared rode home they decided to learn together. My mother can help us and we will really try our best. It would be so wonderful if our class can be the winners. </p> <p>They asked and she said that sounds very good and we will start tomorrow. Now you can do your homework together and you have time to do things together just like you did your school project. </p> <p>Jared was very happy and thanked Luan’s mother.
