I got a set of crucibles, and had some gold laying around, and thought lets give it a go.

I got it red hot, and everything was going great, until for some reason I decided to pour it into water, and then it went into a million pieces.  So I put it back in and fired it up again. This time not so much luck it would not melt down again. SO I AM GIVING IT ONE MORE TRY.... and then I may have to call a friend and ask for some help. The key is to be safe make sure to have some gloves, I have already burned my hand a little. Well I got to get back to it....
