Design of two gown outfit for my sister's daughters using same African print fabric
# Hello everyone

It's a beautiful Friday and I hope you are all doing great, it is my pleasure to share with you today the process of making two beautiful gown outfit with pleated hem for my sister's daughters using same African print fabric given to them by grandma

Sometimes early this year, my sister decided to get more outfit for her daughters as the ones they have are becoming old and small for them, the best way to do this is just to get some fabrics and I have decided to help her with the sewing which will definitely cut some cost. We have made some which were beautiful and looks nice on the kids. Luckily for the kids this time, grandma gifted them another fabric and I decided to make this beautiful style for them

I had already made the little daughter's own earlier and it was looking so beautiful, the same process was used to make the older daughter's own as well following same process

# Join me in the step by step process of making these beautiful outfit for the kids with pleated hem

From the remaining fabric, I cut out the measurements from the waist line to knee line for the front and back with dart and zipper allowance at the back, I placed it on lining to cut out same shape

It was turned inside out with lining and sewn together with the side seam allowance

I took the round knee length and used it to cut out x 3 of the measurement and desired length which was gathered and sewn to the round knee length

I went ahead to cut out the upper bodice with a basic block pattern using her bodice measurement with dart and zipper allowance at the back

I placed the upper bodice on lining and cut out same shape which was used to turn the neckline and both sides of the front and back

The upper bodice were sewn together with the side seam allowance and also at the shoulder then I have the upper bodice ready to be sewn to the lower part of the gown

The upper bodice was sewn to the lower part of the gown and set aside as I proceeded to cut out the sleeves

For the sleeves, I cut out a basic sleeves using the armhole circumference measurement with my desired length measuring x 3of the round sleeves measurement and it was gathered with an elastic band to the actual round sleeves measurement.

Finally, the sleeves were sewn to the armhole circumference and a matching color zipper was sewn to the zipper allowance at the back.
