# Hello hiveians Happy Sunday to you all and I hope you all enjoyed your day. One thing is that, in women outfit, when we talk of making skirt and blouse with Ankara or lace fabric, the most popular blouse in Nigeria is bustier with peplum either single, double or triple flare depending on your choice but the only difference or uniqueness of it is by adding on or two things to make it different from others and that is why I have decided to add this double cape to the constructed princess dart bustier I made with double flare to complete the blouse. Just after the sewing process of the upper bodice of this princess dart bustier, I saw that leaving it plain will not be good enough so from the left over satin material I used as lining for the skirt, I decided to add double cape to the neckline to make the blouse unique and beautiful. # let's get started with the making of the double cape. I placed a brown paper underneath the neckline of the blouse I made to trace out the shape of the neckline with after which I measured 5 and 3" away from the neckline which was later cut in two as shown below It was placed on the left over satin material to cut out same shape of 2 pieces each and I ironed an interfacing on each to be sewn together and turned inside out The two capes were sewn together and I embellished it with glittery stone which was later sewn to the neckline of the upper bodice. Finally, I added the 360° double flare to the upper bodice and this is the outcome. # Thanks for your time and I believe this has added more beauty to the blouse.
