A Beginner’s Guide To Reading The Bible ~ MCGI Topic Review.
When you are reading the Bible, you have to be open to the Holy Spirit. When you are reading the Bible, you have to read, meditate and understand whatever you are learning with the help and spirit of God.

It is advised by Brother Eli that people who are just starting to read the Bible should start from the New Testament. After I thought about this, it feels very correct. I noticed that the New Testament is filled with new laws and new convenants that we have to follow up till now and we have to be familiar with it which will also welcome us fully into Christianity.

Also, you may then read the Old Testament because you might be interested in what prompted such law or convenant which is being put to use now. That’s how to read the Bible.
The Bible is very wide and if you decide to start from the Old Testament, getting to the new one may take time so go for the current one at first.

I have met someone who said that she finished reading the Bible in space of three months. Then, I asked if she was able to learn or assimilate something but she could not.

When reading or learning the Bible, you have to let the Holy Spirit in you. Let your spirit flow in that of the Holy Spirit. You have to feel what is written in the Bible in you and I think this is why some people tend to see some visions anytime they are reading the Bible because they have allowed themselves to be taken by the Holy Spirit in that little time.

There is no single competition when it comes to reading the Bible. Take your time and flow with the spirit of the Lord when reading your Bible.
