<h1>Crypto is Building a Future we all want</h1>

When it comes to crypto most people hear of all the negative horror stories. DeFi platforms being hacked for millions, really dumb nft projects ripping people off, countries so called banning it and so on. What you don't hear about are all the positive and good things crypto is doing for people. So let's take a look into that today as I feel more information on the positive side needs to be spread and shared.

### Content Creators and Users

A platform would be an empty shell of nothingness if it wasn't for its content creators and then  users who absorb that content and interact with it. However platforms have recently become aggressive towards the content they want to allow and not allow which is starting to stifle one of the biggest freedoms of all.

### Capital Flow

Touching on the point above if a content creator isn't posting content for others to take part in and interact with the platform would be nothing. But not just that if a content creator posted all of this content and no one interacted with it there wouldn't be a platform either. This is why in a web3 environment both need to be rewarded however rewarded in a way that negates spam or other things that people don't want to interact with.

I'll be honest with you having a thumbs down or dislike button to me is critical. Sure there will be some trolls that downvote etc but for the most part I feel it helps to as a personal algorithm. If someone dislikes something that type of content but in more particular that content from that content creator would be shown less to that person. It would have zero effect in terms of how much organic push it would get. Over time this build up of like and dislike will filter content that that user likes by those content creators they like. So building effective fun, engaging content is going to be important.

With this type of system of course there would be some flaws like with any system that would have to be addressed. However this type of feedback starts to build what content should receive a portion of the rewards pool.

If content A gets 2,500 views with likes, dislikes and comments and content B gets 200 views. Well then of course 2,500 generated more revenue and thus should get 5x or perhaps a little lower in terms of scaling up like a curve of the rewards pool based on how much value in terms of ad revenue they are brining in.  Now there's more to that as well which should be tracked. Location of those views, bots etc. It's a constant issue and one of the largest issues when it comes to rewarding content on a social media platform that pays it's users instead of the corporation making all the money.

I feel Hive and LEO do a pretty decent job with this and it does come down to how users are voting and rewarding others. The more curators we have the better and the more unbias they are the better as well. 

There are many issues we will need to overcome when moving to web3 however I feel like we will get there and its important that we start. It's why I deeply look forward to platforms in the works such as the SPK network and Project blank being two of the leading edges of this. 

Let's get out there, support the community, quality content and building web3. You are part of the ground floor that is going to shape this all and either make it happen or make it fail. I would hope we are all on the page of making it happen as the benefits of it are massive.
