<h1>Hive and HBD The Forefront of Crypto</h1>

Hive and HBD have the possibility to really become a powerhouse in this type of market condition we now find ourselves in. From the collapse of cryptos and many businesses it's clear to see that some better alternatives are needed and people are now searching and once again investing in these.

### HBD

HBD has huge possibilities as a stable coin however it needs to start holding its peg a little better. I would consider a 5% swing up or down ok but once you start tapping into anything above that I clearly write it off as a stable coin. In relativity though even a 1% chance it too much but I do believe one day and hopefully soon we will get there.

One very good option to this so far is pHBD which is a wrapped version of HBD on the Polygon network through defi with [PolyCub](https://polycub.com) This HBD wrapped version of HBD has held its $1 peg very well through all market conditions and has performed very well.


### Hive

Hive will soon be changing into a resource credit (it already is however most view it as a way to get paid and cash out on their posts) This mind shift is going to take place soon where people stop looking at hive as a ATM machine for creating content and instead something they need to stack and hold on to in order to use the platform, the apps within it and have influence over it. Currently a majority of the mind focus is posting, cashing out and posting more at least for the larger style accounts (of course not all) but the amount of exit from the platform is what hurts it the most.

The shift in marketing and advertising of hive needs to be why you should stake, hold on to it and build it. Not write and provide content and get paid for doing so which has been one of the most critical mistakes of any marketing that has gone on for Hive in the past.

Instead developers will be introduced to hive and they will need Hive in order to take up resources on the chain for new account creations for their game and applications.

Think of Wax for a moment and how resources work there. In realities hive is much the same which makes hive being one of the easiest places to connect to for gaming and the gaming space. However Hive really needs a solid NFT marketplace like atomic of neftyblocks. It's honestly something I wish we would use DAO funds on or have current devs work on. These types of applications will provide MUCH needed and more value to hive ecosystem then any chain style update in my opinion.

Hive and HBD have a unique opportunity here once again to capture the wider market and really show it's power and value to everyone. However much of that comes down to what feels like our limited devs at the moment and is something I don't want us to miss out out.

What options do you feel would start inviting more development work on Hive in terms of applications such as Atomic hub, play2earn, real communities like LEO and so on?
