<h1>Hive/Leo Goals and The Importance Of Them</h1>

When you look at any business or successful entrepreneur what is one thing they all have in common? Goals, no matter how small or large they are goals are a easy point to come up with to help push you towards a direction you want to take yourself and your business. Without a goal you simply are floating around in every direction most likely getting no where.

It's been a few weeks since I posted my Hive/Leo goals and I thought now was a good time to revisit after everything we have all been through in the last two weeks. It also I feel highlights the reasons of why you should have goals yourself so you don't take drastic emotional directions which often times screw you over.

### Onboarding

As per of this weekly, biweekly or month goal report I thought it would be good to include a bit of onboarding data into it. 

What makes hive and leo so unique is that you can play a active part in the tokens value and worth by onboarding people to the platform to blog, comment, curate, invest, play2earn games and more.

We only onboarded 4 new players to splinterlands last month which is a pretty steep decline. Last month was a brutal one for me all around and I admit I didn't get into this as much as I would have liked. However it's now pushed further up on my radar again to push. It's nice earning some extra credits to be able to pick up more packs for essentially "free" 

LEO onboarding system - 19 Again it wasn't my primary focus last month as I had a lot of server issues that took about 3 weeks to resolve. Now that it's all sorted though I see this doubling if not better. This onboarding system simply walks people through joining LEO/Hive and how to write their first post, comment and curate. After two weeks of training (since it takes a full week for their first LEO/Hive payout) it then progresses into CUB.

CUB onboarding System - 5 For me right now CUB feels very broken and it needs some serious love before I start pushing it to people again. PolyCub same thing. The tokenomics on these systems needs to be better before I'm confident pushing it to people again. My recommendations go to my name so when you have a token that goes from $0.50 to $0.04 and there's nothing to really pull it back it doesn't look good on me. Sorry LEO team but you gotta do better. I can onboard and invest but it's up to you to build a platform that works and I believe you can.

Alright so I have to say I timed this thing pretty well again idk how! lol In any case right when the market crashed and hive crashed with it down a good 40%+ I made a move that allows me today to make more hive then ever before! Now that prices are down this opens up massive possibilities in terms of earning more hive faster compared to when it was near or over $1. I honestly didn't think I would hit my goal by the end of the year because of it. However instead of $25,000 I cut that in half to $12,500 to hit my goal. That means more hive is being paid out on posts, conversions are looking better for a number of tokens etc.

What does hurt however is the dollar value earned. What was once about $20-$40 daily is now about $10 - $15 daily which is a huge pain point. However I understand this is being a building phase and a semi cash out later when prices rally.

I'm going to be brutally honest here. I'm not very happy with how CUB and Polycub are turning out. Things need to change to make those tokens start holding some value and it needs to be done quickly. This whole year has been promise after promise and every time it's fallen flat in terms of price value. As a investor it's turned me away from these projects some what however I've been stacking CUB only now with the price being under $0.05 as a just to see what happens in the long term future investment.

Don't get me wrong at all I love LEO and what they are doing but at some point they have gotta get this figured out and start injecting value into these tokens and systems. I believe they can do it but I also believe time is starting to not be on their side for being able to do it. That's made me pull back a bit investment wise in LEO however it's still a primary focus of mine. I want to do my part when a falling price that simply doesn't hold makes that VERY difficult. Some times you need someone to be brutally honest. and yes I understand there will be comebacks like well we aren't looking a few days in the future and I get that. TRUST ME I GET THAT I've been invested and investing into CUB since launch without taking anything out and the price just keeps crashing so you honestly can't throw that at me lol.

### ONEUP / PIZZA / Splinterlands

ONEUP is a strange one to me lately. The general feeling I'm getting from via discord is that it's greatly under performing and it kind of reminds me of that never ending wheel spin where they say they are going to do something but continue to back peddle on it because it's not going to plan. This for me is now a casual earning and not a primary at all.

Splinterlands is still my go to. I looked over my crypto assets after the mega crash and you know what held the most value? NFTs and in particular NFT cards from Splinterlands. I think my price fell maybe 10% while everything else was down 40%+ now I say that short term but long term the value of cards does seem to be diminishing but I feel that will also pick up in Q3 but more so in Q4.

PIZZA I love this little token. It's inexpensive, the community is awesome and fun and in general it's just a cool little part of HIVE and gaming that I see expanding.
