[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=bitcoinflood) just released the UI for their new defi platforms and I have to say they are down right amazing!

The possibilities to earn with Splinterlands continues to grow at a record pace and this is just one of the many releases of how to earn with Splinterlands.

### What Is Splinterlands

Splinderlands is a NFT blockchain based game on the [Hive Blockchain](https://hive.blog.com) and has quickly become of the best blockchain based games. This card collecting and battling game reminds me most of games like [Gods Unchained](https://godsunchained.com) or Hearthstone.

Cards can be combined to level up and create more powerful versions. With daily PvP rewards, season ranking rewards and tournaments Splinterlands gives a lot to offer for the player.

As an investor there are also many options. Buying and delegation of cards or renting them out on the market. Buying and selling cards, staking SPS (Governance tokens) and now providing liquidity!

### The New Liquidity Pools

There are currently a total of 9 liquidity pools which provide DEC and SPS rewards depending on the pools you are providing liquidity to.

These new liquidity pools are a great way to not only earn but also help build the entire ecosystem for Splinterlands and also the Hive blockchain. I've always said that gaming is one of the easiest ways to get other involved in blockchain and crypto and in many cases without the user even really knowing if the UI was done right. I'm happy to say that Splinterlands has been one of those such platforms that's getting it right or at least close enough to reduce friction and really build out a massive platform that brings gamers, investors, sponsors, streamers and players all together in a smart and innovative way.
