At the time of writing this update on the price of Bitcoin, the crypto-currency was trading at $2083 on Poloniex. 

The price dropped after Bitcoin climbed as high as $2132 making this the new level to beat. This new high might be thanks to all the media attention Bitcoin has been receiving since the beginning of this year.

If the price continues to increase then <b>Bitcoin could reach $3000</b> before the end of June/July seeing that it grew by 70% since 22 April 2017. [Image source: coingecko.com]

Bitcoins <b>Market Cap is $34,857,213,350.4</b> and <b>Total Trading Volume is $408,429,951.7</b> which in my opinion is testament to Bitcoins growing popularity and the confidence people have in the crypto-currency.
