<center></center> When I first came to Kuala Lumpur (from the other side of Malaysia) and settled here. I was induldge into many new "culture" which were very new to me. When I celebrated my first Chinese New Year here in Kuala Lumpur, I kept hearing about **Yee Sang** which I had NO idea about. However after year on year I started to get used to this strange act of food tossing and its now part of what me and my family does every Chinese New Year. ### So what is Yee Sang ? Its actually a dish which is actually a Chinese style salad which normally includes raw fish, normally we use salmon. The salad would also include a variety of color, so you would have a variety of vegetables and various sauce ( eg. plum sauce , or some sweet sauce ) and condiments. What happens is you put it all in a plate and use chopsticks to start tossing it up while wishing prosperity, luck, great health to everyone who is tossing with you.
