  - MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2 usb-c ports (late 2017)
  - LG 27UD88-W

# Problem: Connecting External Monitor
When trying to connect an external monitor to a MacBook Pro issues occur. Somtimes the monitor is not able to find a signal at all. 

  - no signal from the MacBook
  - screen size resolution issues
  - sometimes one usb-c port works and the other one doesn't

# Solution
In case you know the solution to this problem, please let me know. The LG 27UD88-W monitor has the latest firmware installed. The MacBook Pro runs on macOS High Sierra version 10.13.2.
