There has been some common misconceptions surrounding the Hive Community of late. This detailed report with look into these misconceptions in more detail and try and dispel some of the myths.

#### Hive Community are in their own little bubble unaware of what is going on in the outside world.

Granted once you start getting into Hive you do not need to go anywhere else. It has blogging, games and politics the likes of what is seen on no other platform. Users get sucked into this and end up putting all their eggs in one basket. Some users do ~~escape~~ powerdown and make money from the platform but most stay. Users need to know what is going on in the outside world in order to post content so it is safe to say that Hive community are very aware what is happening or otherwise they would have nawt to write about. 


#### The Hive Community are a bunch of Tin Foil Helmet Conspiracy Theorists Who Spend Most Of Their Day Watching Youtube.

Being decentralised the Hive community does attract the tin foil helmets and the old men that shake their fists at clouds but thankfully Hive has managed to get rid of these users through constant downvotes from the normallys until they got the message. There still are a couple of preachers on the mount that are posting that the Covid vaccination is all about mind control but I think they even got sick of the sound of their own voices. Thankfully most of these users are on Blurt now. 

#### The Hive Community Does Not Welcome New Users. 
After a new user stays long enough to get to grips with our complicated system and manages to avoid the downvote merrymen if they manage to write a long enough post and source their images correctly then the Hive community are indeed very welcoming. After around a year of earning a few penny's then someone will take notice and give their posts a decent upvote. Hive acknowledges the fact that the most exposure they have ever gotten is when crypto influencer cryptofinally popped in and tried her luck but she was ran out of town with digital pitchforks. But in fairness one can say she was rather annoying. 

"Give us a less annoying CT influencer and we will indeed be more welcoming." claimed one Hive source.

#### If Hive hasn't gone to the moon by now it never will. 
This is not the case. People just do not know about getting paid to write stuff on blockchain. Imagine when unemployed Samantha who is always on Facebook finds out that you can get paid to post!! She will be hooked. Although explaining the basics of crypto to Samantha will be the catch. Hive is 10-20 years ahead of its time. This time next year we will all be millionaires when more projects take off.  Hive does not envisage any form of fork because there is nobody plotting to steal the pre-mine. It is still a relative new platform. 

#### The Hive Community are all vegans
Contrary to popular belief the Hive community is not all vegan. Around 3% of the community do actually enjoy meat.

#### Hive Whales thinks the sun shines out of their arse. 
This is the case with all whales with every cryptocurrency and is not solely confined to that of the Hive platform.

#### The Hive Platform Have Run Out of Things To Blog About.
Whereas the case in Wikipedia when 98% of everything is written about, Hive bloggers keep coming up with great new ways to make content. Shadowchasers, raindrops on leaf photos and rate my meal are just some of the new ways that the Hive Community are making content. There is also the new craft content with dolls made from toilet roll tubes with little triangle hats, relationship advice and applying make up content that is bringing a new genre to Hive. Otherwise there is still plenty to blog about with price of Hive , the battle on Splinterlands or how great the Leo lads are doing.  

#### The Hive Community are Rarely on Hive but always on Discord. 
Even though the Hive community do 99% of their networking on Discord, Hive is where they go to check on the person they are talking to on Discord.  Hive does admit that their users do hang out in the kitchen instead of the "good" room but that doesn't mean they are not dedicated to the Hive platform.

#### Hive is Just Steem without The Ned. 
Mention the S word again and we will find you and kill you.
