Several years ago I've had a wonderful experience of (safe) meeting brown bears in nature. It was possible due to The <a href="www.wildbrownbear.fi">Wild Brown Bear</a> Finnish center specializing in bear and wolverine photography and observation. The center is located in the heart of a wilderness area less than two kilometers from the Finnish-Russian border.
For couple of unforgettable days I was sitting in a tiny hide and observing bears wandering around.
