 I guess I’ll continue on popping these up here as long as there is sone major movement on either side. Luckily so far, these keep rocketing up like the tallest skyscraper in Gotham. I’m sure at sone point they will come back down to sone sort of reality, but for the time being…weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, so in March of last year, I purchased 3 of the McFarlane Batman NFT’s off of Veve’s site for a total of $240 bucks, or $80 each. With McFarlane being one of the most influential comic artists of all time and my favorite…I figured it was a solid buy if any of these were ever going to do anything special, which at the time was a total crapshoot. Well, not sure if you’ve been paying attention or not but a large majority of Veve’s pieces have been mooning daily. Before I cover Bats here, I want to start off by saying that I like what Veve is doing. They seem to be acquiring good licenses and they seem to be growing at an exponential rate. Every day in the crypto/NFT groups I’m in, someone is talking about their stuff. That being said, I’m still scratching my head a bit as these do literally nothing. There is no use case, no real utility, and yet they seem to be kings of their domain. You cannot remove your funds and transfer out which is a huge issue for me, but that doesn’t seem to be hurting their momentum at all. Word on the street is that it’s on the roadmap for this year, but I heard that all of last year as well…. Regardless, folks (and bots) seem to be lining up for their releases as each one sells out quicker than the previous one, leading to secondary market prices to keep rising. My thought process is that we will most likely see a huge dump or fall of prices when they finally do allow collectors and investors to withdraw funds out, but we will see when and if that happens when they finally implement that feature. Holy crap! On one hand, I’m glad I haven’t moved any yet as I was thrilled when these things were hitting a grand. On the other, I’d love nothing more than to move these badboys to put the funds directly into a Tract of Land in Splinterlands. I just think the upside there is much higher.
