 Hello to all HashKings Fans (who also play Splinterlands hopefully 😜)! 🥳 This is my 2nd time taking part in the HashKings/Splinterlands tournament again. This tournament is conducted to promote the launch of HashKings latest Gen 3 Avatar NFT packs. It's a shame I missed out on quite a few before realising it but better late than never I guess? 😅 Well, I definitely am taking notice and signing up whenever I see this particular competition now! 😎 Here's a quick overview of my battles and results for my previous HashKings GEN 3 Pack Promo Splinterlands tournament. ⚔️🛡️ --- *Once again, to any Splinterlands player who might not be aware, HashKings @hashkings has been organising a semi regular Splinterlands tournament with really attractive prizes! 🤑🎁🎉* *I can't exactly pinpoint a regular day in which it takes place, but there've been several conducted with a regular frequency for the past few months. It has an entry fee of just 40 DEC! That might sound like quite a sum for an entry fee but as long as you finish in the top 75, you will definitely get a minimum prize of 40 DEC in return. All the tournaments thus far have NOT had more than that number of participants. That effectively makes it a free competition to try your skill at winning some attractive prizes. 🥳*  *Here's a list of previous tournaments with the number of players participating. Highest ever turnout was 65, with numbers ranging in the 40s most of the time.* 😁  --- <center></center> # <center>🌱🏆HashKings Splinterlands Tournament🏆🌱</center> <center></center> ---  The battle for the top 3 places was closely contested with the top 2 positions actually tying together for the exact same score of 19W/5L/1D! Considering that this is a tournament which takes place over 2 rounds, it really is something for such a tie to happen. Unfortunately, there needs to be only ONE WINNER and it went down to the tiebreaker score. 😱🎉 My own record was pretty decent this time as I ended with an overall score of 17W/6L. I did pretty well and finished just outside of the podium with a 4th place finishing overall. I was happy, but also slightly disappointed. It was a case of so near yet so far? 🤣 Nevertheless, I can't really complain as I walked home with a prize too. 🎁 Congratulations to @karmand5 @lordsev @jhuleader for taking the 3 podium positions! 🎉🏆 --- <center></center> # <center>🤼♂️⚔️🛡️ The Battlefield 🤼♂️⚔️🛡️</center> <center></center> --- The battle format is actually consists of TWO 24-hour rounds. The first round sees everyone competing against each other with just the top 50% advancing to the second round. From there, another round of matches are played against each other to eventually decide the winner! Here's a quick preview of all the battles I fought en route to my final placing. Great battles from all my worthy opponents, it was an honour fighting against you. 👍 Whether it's a win or loss, I take every battle as a learning experience - especially more so for any really close fights. 😉 (Once again, there were quite a number of "no-shows" this time round, literally gifting me with "free" wins. Not that I'm complaining though 🤣, a win is a win! 🎉) ---   --- <center></center> # <center>⏰📅 Upcoming Tournaments 📅⏰</center> <center></center> --- Will there be more of such tournaments? 😉 I certainly hope so. However, I've scanned through the tournament event lists and am yet to see any organized by HashKings. I will keep a look out and cross my fingers.
