HELLO to all Splinterlands readers of my humble blog.👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 Welcome to yet another week of the *"new"* iteration of the Splinterlands Weekly Challenges 😜. The *"old"* Battle Challenges are now a thing of the past (at least for now?) and they have been replaced with the **"Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: A Guide to Increasing Card Levels by Combining Cards"**.

*For any old Hivers/Splinterland players who've just come back and are confused, fret not! Even with the name and format tweaks, right at it's core, battles are still the foundation of these posts.*

In this week's edition of my **A Guide to Increasing Card Levels by Combining Cards**, I will do something drastically different from my usual battle showcases. Instead of war, I will become a peaceful teacher showing all new players how to most effectively navigate the topic of "A Guide to Increasing Card Levels by Combining Cards". 

We are all familiar with the concept of using cards in every Splinterlands battle. In fact, cards are so essential to the game that you can literally not play at all without at least a certain card collection size. Sometimes, the key to winning is simply having more cards than your opponent. However, one lesser known aspect to new players are that cards itself aren't everything — card levels make all the difference! So follow on as I attempt to teach all newer players (and perhaps some older players too) about the importance of increasing your deck's card levels! 😜

With all that being said, here is how I would advice ALL players on how you can capitalize on some of these simple strategies!

   - Choose the individual copies of the card you intend to combine.

4. **Combine Cards:**
   - Click the combine icon (green '+').
   - Confirm the action in the pop-up window.
