One of my old posts talked about Perry Saturn wrestling in Japan. This time round, it is Sabu's turn to talk about his experience in the Far Eastern Land of the Rising Sun!   - Despite previous commitments, the allure of New Japan’s offer was too tempting to resist.


- **Structure and Schedule:**
  - New Japan was akin to a luxury experience compared to FMW’s more modest setup.
  - Worked one day a month for New Japan and several days for smaller affiliated companies.
  - The dynamic included major shows and smaller events, balancing high-profile and local engagements.


- **Favorite Wrestling Opponents:**
  - Jushin Thunder Liger stood out as the most generous and enjoyable to work with.
  - Gran Hamada also impressed with his skills, even surpassing Liger in some aspects.


- **Challenges and Initiations:**
  - First experiences in Japan involved rigorous testing by local wrestlers to prove one’s mettle.
  - Adapted to a more intense wrestling style, incorporating stiff and realistic moves.
  - Younger wrestlers often viewed matches as real fights, leading to a blend of cooperation and genuine competitiveness.


- **Junior Heavyweight Division:**
  - Initially competed as a junior heavyweight due to weight class regulations.
  - Faced the reality of limited earning potential and opportunities as a junior heavyweight.
  - Eventually aimed to transition out of the junior division for better pay and higher-profile matches.

  - Encountered a mix of fully scripted matches and impromptu, intense bouts.
