According to Coinsquare director Kevin Rooke, the Ethereum blockchain platform is now the 5th largest open-source project in the world and continues to grow with each passing day. Microsoft’s Azure is currently the largest open-source project on a global scale, but with more than 250,000 programmers supporting the Ethereum platform, it is quickly catching up to the competition. He also pointed out that some other blockchain projects, like EOS, Cardano, and NEO, could all find themselves working their way up this list as well as they continue to expand their user base and developers pool.
